Usage
1. Before using the paint, stir thoroughly with a mixing equipment, then add clean water and stir until uniform, adjusting to a reasonable Baume degree range;
2. The coating frequency is determined based on the weight and wall thickness of the castings. Generally, castings weighing less than 10 tons can be coated twice. The wet coating thickness after coating is generally controlled between 1.6-2.0mm. After each coating, it is placed in a drying room with good air circulation conditions to ensure uniform drying of the coating. The temperature in the drying room is set at 50-60C, and the drying time is 8-12 hours. The dry coating thickness after drying is 1.2-1.6mm, Determine the coating thickness based on the condition of the casting;
3. For areas with heavy casting weight or prone to sand sticking, one layer of alcohol based lost foam coating can be applied in advance to improve the mold's resistance to sand sticking and high-temperature molten iron erosion, ensuring a good surface smoothness of the casting. For this alcohol based lost foam coating, models such as FQ800E or FQ2S can be selected.
Storage and shelf life
Store in a cool and ventilated place, pay attention to insulation, and prevent paint from freezing when the temperature is too low. Under normal conditions, the shelf life is six months.
packing
25-40 kg plastic drum packaging.
